It drives me crazy to see stores in Manhattan with their AC on and doors wide open. Such a waste!
It’s not just Manhattan — stores everywhere do this. And it drives me nuts, too.
But I think of it this way. If that store has such gross profit margins that they can afford to blatantly burn money and energy in the face of a worldwide energy crisis, and someone in the company decided that this practice would be a good idea, I don’t need to shop there.
