All of the new MacBooks, including the Pro and Air, require a $99 adapter to connect to anything requiring dual-link DVI.
This means every 30” monitor on the market, including Apple’s own 30” Cinema Display, except the Dell 3008WFP (which has a DisplayPort input).
That’s disappointing. Although you probably aren’t very price-sensitive to an extra hundred bucks if you have a 30” monitor and are trying to connect a brand new $1300-2800 laptop to it.
