On this episode, we had four big discussions that I’m proud of:

• Why new generations of consumer electronics catch on (or don’t).
• Code shouldn’t need a lot of comments.
• Why I don’t discount the Instapaper app’s price, and the premium-app role I hope Instapaper can retain if its ever-increasing competition ever dominates it in iOS paid-app sales volume.
• Blog comments are a relic of a time when setting up your own blog was harder. Today, there are other solutions to address the problems that comments solve with fewer downsides.
