This link from the WWDC FAQ gives great rates for the hotels in the area — much better than the public rates, if you have a WWDC conference ticket.

For maximum value, Parc 55 at $229/night is a decent hotel in a decent location at a great price.1

If you don’t mind the extra cost, the W is a big upgrade in quality and proximity to Moscone West for $265/night, a fantastic deal for what’s usually a much more expensive hotel.

(And yes, I was wrong about the WWDC dates. Oh well. I’ve been wrong before.)
